THE RIMAC NEVERA R USHERS A NEW ERA OF ELECTRIC HYPERCAR INNOVATION
The Rimac Nevera R is a 2,107-horsepower all-electric hypercar that improves on the already record-breaking Nevera in every measurable dimension: more power, sharper aerodynamics, better tires, and a revised chassis, all compressed into a limited run of 40 examples. It is the definitive statement of what Croatian EV manufacturer Rimac Automobili is capable of building in its first decade of existence.
What Makes the Nevera R Different from the Nevera?
The original Nevera was already the world's fastest-accelerating production car. The Nevera R is a full engineering revision rather than a cosmetic upgrade. The four electric motors have been reworked to produce 2,107 PS total (1,550 kW), up from the standard Nevera's output, with the battery's internal resistance reduced so it can deliver peak power more quickly without heat buildup. The result is a 0 to 60 mph time of 1.74 seconds and a 0 to 300 km/h sprint in 7.89 seconds. Top speed is rated at 430 km/h.

Aerodynamics: 15% More Downforce, 10% Better Efficiency
The Nevera R's aerodynamic package has been rebuilt around a large fixed rear wing, a redesigned front splitter, aggressive air intakes, and an extended rear diffuser. Together, these produce 15% more downforce than the standard Nevera and improve aerodynamic efficiency by 10%. The 21-inch rear and 20-inch front wheel dimensions are new sizes developed for this model, fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires that reduce total understeer by 10% and increase lateral grip by 5%, translating directly into faster lap times on circuit.

Braking: The EVO2 Carbon Ceramic System
The standard Nevera's braking system was already exceptional. The Nevera R introduces the EVO2 setup, which features carbon ceramic brake discs treated with a silicone matrix layer for superior heat resistance, fade reduction, and longer pad life under repeated hard stops. Combined with Rimac's motor-based regenerative braking, the system provides layered stopping capability that matches the deceleration demand of a car capable of 430 km/h.
Interior and Customization
The Nevera R interior is available for full personalization through Rimac's dealer network, using advanced materials and precision-engineered components that balance weight optimization with luxury. The integration of technology throughout the cabin reflects Rimac's software-first engineering approach: the R is as much a computing platform as it is a vehicle, with the four-motor torque vectoring system managed in real time by Rimac's proprietary All-Wheel Torque Vectoring 2 software. Weight stands at approximately 2,265 kg (4,993 lb).
Limited to 40 Units
The Nevera R continues the original Nevera's limited production discipline, with just 40 examples available worldwide. The Nevera's base price was approximately $2.1 million; the R carries a premium above that, with final pricing available through Rimac's official dealer channels. The limited volume and the engineering depth of the upgrade make the R a significant collector-grade vehicle alongside its track utility.
