TheArsenale x Atypical - Motus Capsule Skateboards

TheArsenale partnered with Atypical, an Italian skateboard maker known for handcrafting some of the most visually distinctive and technically refined boards available, to create the TheArsenale x Atypical Motus Capsule: four limited-edition skateboards inspired by vintage motorsport colour palettes and racing liveries. It is a natural convergence of two worlds, both driven by craft, precision and a preference for objects that are as beautiful as they are functional.

The Four Boards in the Motus Capsule

The collection comprises four distinct pieces. "Midnight," "Forest" and "Petroleum" are each limited to a run of three, their names drawn from the saturated, deep tones of classic racing liveries. The "Pure Black" is a single unique piece, a one-off with a certificate on the rear confirming its singular status. Of the four, only one Pure Black will ever exist, making it as much a collector's artefact as a rideable object. Each board is handmade by Atypical at their Italian workshop, and every purchase through TheArsenale included a complementary T-shirt and a discount code for the TheArsenale Annual Book.

Craft, Racing and the Logic of the Collaboration

Atypical's approach to skateboard construction shares the same DNA as the artisan coachbuilders and custom motorcycle workshops that fill the rest of TheArsenale's catalogue.
