Golden Grail - Bogarde Teams up with Dior Again
The Dior Homme x Bogarde golden BMX is the second collaboration between the Parisian haute couture house and French BMX specialists Bogarde, limited to 100 units globally and priced at $5,425. Following the success of an initial Dior x Bogarde BMX that debuted earlier in the same season, this gold edition raises the stakes with polished golden metalwork, Dior calfskin seat and grips, and the iconic Dior bee logo engraved on both the handlebars and brake calipers. It is one of the most expensive production BMX bicycles ever made.
The Second Dior x Bogarde Collaboration
The first Dior Homme and Bogarde collaboration introduced the idea of a luxury fashion house applying couture-level craft to a bicycle. The gold edition carries the same DNA forward with a significantly more opulent finish.
Design Details: Calfskin, Bee Logo, and Golden Hardware
Every surface of the gold BMX has been considered through the lens of fashion house craftsmanship. The entire frame, fork, and hardware are finished in polished gold. The seat and grips are wrapped in Dior calfskin leather, cross-stitched in the house's signature pattern. The Dior bee, the fashion house's recurring motif derived from Napoleon's imperial iconography, appears engraved on the brake calipers and on the frame.
