HENNESSEY REVEALS THE 1,817HP VENOM F5 REVOLUTION

HENNESSEY REVEALS THE 1,817HP VENOM F5 REVOLUTION - TheArsenale

The Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution is a track-focused evolution of the Venom F5 hypercar, producing 1,817 hp from a twin-turbocharged 6.6-litre V8 engine named "Fury" and limited to just 24 coupes worldwide at a price of $2.7 million each. Texas-based Hennessey Special Vehicles debuted the Revolution at the Miami Motorcar Cavalcade Concours d'Elegance on January 15, 2023, and by that point most of the allocation had already been sold.

What Is the Venom F5 Revolution?

The standard Venom F5 was already one of the most powerful production hypercars ever built. The Revolution takes that baseline and re-engineers it specifically for circuit use, transforming a road-legal hypercar into a competition-ready machine while retaining the fundamentals of the F5's extreme powertrain. As CarBuzz reported at the Revolution's reveal, Hennessey positioned it as a halo model within an already extreme lineup, a track weapon derived from a car that was already not for the faint-hearted.

Power, Aero, and the Pursuit of Lightness

The Fury V8 delivers 1,817 hp (1,355 kW) and 1,193 lb-ft of torque. The Revolution's key engineering upgrades over the standard Venom F5 include a roof-mounted air inlet for improved high-speed cooling, revised aerodynamic components throughout the body to increase downforce without excessive drag, retuned suspension for circuit dynamics, and a full digital track telemetry system giving the driver and engineers real-time data.

Weight has been a central focus. The Revolution is the lightest Venom F5 variant yet, coming in at approximately 3,000 pounds. Removing mass from a car with this much power amplifies every performance characteristic: acceleration, cornering force, braking response, and balance all benefit simultaneously. The combination of Fury's output and this reduced kerb weight produces a power-to-weight ratio in territory shared only by Formula 1 machinery and a handful of bespoke racing prototypes.

Production, Pricing, and the Roadster Variant

The Revolution is limited to 36 total units: 24 coupes and 12 roadsters. According to Hennessey Special Vehicles' official release, the Roadster variant was later revealed in bare carbon bodywork, adding open-air drama to the track-focused formula. Both variants share the same Fury powertrain and competition-specification chassis updates. At $2.7 million per coupe, the Revolution occupies the top tier of what any private buyer can acquire from an American hypercar manufacturer.

Hypercars and Extreme Vehicles at TheArsenale

The Venom F5 Revolution belongs to a class of machines defined by total commitment. At TheArsenale, similarly uncompromising hypercars include the TDF-1 Track-Only Hypercar, a pure-circuit machine built around the premise that nothing road-legal is required, and the Delage D12 F1-Inspired Hypercar, which draws its engineering philosophy directly from Formula 1. For a coachbuilt supercar that shares the Revolution's philosophy of extreme exclusivity, the Salaff C2 Coachbuilt Supercar offers another one-of-a-kind approach to extreme performance.
