AIRSPEEDER MK4: WORLD'S FASTEST CREWED FLYING RACING CAR - TheArsenale

Alauda Aeronautics, the Australian flying car company, has unveiled the Airspeeder Mk4, the world's first crewed version of its high-speed racing vehicle. The Airspeeder Mk4 is a revolutionary eVTOL aircraft that can reach a top speed of 360 kph (225 mph) in just 30 seconds from a standing start. The vehicle is specifically designed to set a new standard for performance and technology in the sport of piloted Airspeeder racing, opening up new opportunities for OEM teams to join in a motorsport revolution.

The Airspeeder Mk4 is extremely efficient, with a projected range of 300km (188 miles) while producing near-zero emissions. The vehicle is powered by a 1,000 kW (1,340 horsepower) turbogenerator that feeds power to the batteries and motors, allowing green hydrogen to be used as fuel, providing safe, reliable, and sustainable power over long distances and flight times.

It is equipped with Artificial Intelligence Gimballed Thrust technology, which produces handling qualities that are comparable to a Formula 1 car. This technology helps to ensure that the vehicle is easy to handle, even at high speeds, making it an ideal vehicle for piloted racing.

The first crewed races for the Airspeeder Mk4 are scheduled for 2024, with team entries now open for the Airspeeder crewed racing series. This marks a significant milestone in the development of eVTOL technology, opening up new opportunities for high-speed racing and setting a new standard for performance and technology in the sport.
